3) For emergency model without button and keypad, the phone will dial one
programmed number (once the unit has been configured, see §4.7 Memory storing p
36).
NOTE : IP address can be used to make a ‘P2P’ (peer to peer) call, if both phones are on
a same network segment. For that, dial *47 followed by the three last numbers of IP
address. Ex: a phone with the address
192.168.100.204 can be called by dialling
*47204 .
3.2. Answering a call
On incoming call :
1) If you are not already in conversation, pick up the handset.
2) During a conversation, press ‘R’ key to put the first call on hold and answer to the
new call. You can toggle between the two calls by pressing ‘R’ key.
3.3. Amplified speaker
The SecurPhone IP features a loudspeaker for group listening.
During a call, this feature can be activated or deactivated by depressing
key.
NOTE : It is possible to activate the amplified speaker when picking up the handset. The
SecurPhone IP user cannot access to settings and volume adjustment of this feature (cf.
§4.10 Amplified speaker setting and volume adjustment p 37).
The amplified speaker volume adjustment also defines the handset receive volume.
3.4. Hold a call
1) Press ‘R’ key to hold the call.
2) If there is only one call press this button again to resume the call.
If there are two calls, only one call can be put on hold. Press ‘R’ key to hold a call
and resume the other one.
3.5. Call transfer
The SecurPhone IP supports both blind and attended transfer.
During a conversation, press ‘R’ key. The call will be put on hold and you can hear a dial
tone. Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call.
1)
For a blind transfer: press again ‘R’ key or hang up to transfer the call and be
disconnected.
2)
For an attended transfer: wait until the third party goes off-hook, you can talk with
this one without being heard by the first party. Then hang up or press ‘R’ key again
to complete the transfer.
