Handpiece maintenance
Do not use on this system:
- 710078: Prophy Right Angle Sheath
- 720446: Triple-Seal Prophy Contra Angle Head
- 720445: Triple-Seal Prophy Right Angle Head

Turn on power
LED
(ready to operate) light turns green.
Open front door.
Attach applicable maintenance adaptors to handpiece maintenance
ports.
Prior to installing a handpiece to the maintenance system, scrub
and clean the handpiece under running water (head pointing up)
using a soft sponge to remove external debris.
Install handpiece to appropriate adaptor, ensuring Handpiece Chuck
opening (Bur tube) is facing front, back or down.
NOTE:
If your fixed back end handpiece faces left or right, utilize "380422

90° Maintenance Adaptor" to correct the positioning.
Close front door.
Press
(Start Button) on operating keypad.
The cycle will run automatically. Blinking of LEDs 1, 2 or 3 indicate
port is in use. Each handpiece port is lubricated in succession.
Upon completion of each maintenance cycle LEDs of each loaded
port will be illuminated.
Open front door.
Remove handpiece(s).
LEDs will turn off on removal of handpieces.
Check handpiece chuck for visual presence of oil.
If no oil is visible on chuck, see "Troubleshooting" chapter 6.
Once a week: Ensure maintenance adaptors are securely
attached to handpiece maintenance ports.
Tighten coupling nut as needed.
Handpiece chuck maintenance
Wear safety glasses.
Turn on power.
LED
(ready to operate) lights green.
Open front door.
Hold handpiece Bur Tube to chuck maintenance port.
Press
(Start Button) on operating keypad.
Program runs automatically.
LED next to
illuminates during process.
Remove handpiece when cycle is complete and LED is off.
