The following step-by-step instructions illustrate the glazing process
using the CEREC SpeedFire furnace as an example.
1. Always use a slim restoration holder wherever possible for glazing
restorations which does not touch the inner surfaces when glazing.
Use the "Glasur Support Single Unit" restoration holder from Sirona.
2.
Use the CEREC SpeedPaste from Sirona for fastening onto the
restoration holder and for closing the screw channel.
3. Press the thinnest tapered pin into the screw channel filled with
CEREC SpeedPaste.
4. Spread/model the CEREC SpeedPaste in such a way that the
screw channel is sealed and the adhesive surface to the TiBase is
covered and no glaze/spray can get onto these surfaces.
