Rear Panel Operation
•
FS-2 Footswitch Jack :
This is a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) type jack. Any 3-conductor cable with 1/4” TRS jacks will
work for longer runs (e.g. unshielded headphone extension cable.)
•
Effects Loop Send/Return :
SEND comes from the preamp of TGA-2.1 and goes to the input of your effects chain.
The output of the last eff ect goes into the RETURN jack.
•
Pentode/Triode Switch :
THIS SWITCH SHOULD ONLY BE THROWN IN STANDBY MODE. It effectively cuts
the power by approx. 50%, changes the basic character of the amp, decreases the headroom, but INCREASES pick/
hand sensitivity.
•
Amplifier Output (16 ohm, 8 ohm, 4 ohm) :
MAKE SURE THAT A SPEAKER IS CONNECTED BEFORE TURN-
ING ON THE AMPLIFIER. These separate outputs run different impedance speaker cabinets. Only one speaker
output should be used at a time.
•
Fuse :
-For 110 VAC :
50 watt amp uses a 2 amp slow blow fuse, 100 watt version uses a 4 amp slow blow fuse.
-For 240 VAC :
50 watt amp uses a 1 amp slow blow fuse, 100 watt version uses a 2 amp slow blow fuse.
•
Voltage Selector :
Switches between 110VAC and 240VAC for international operation. Make sure to replace fuse
when changing voltage.
