“Cleaning/Maintenance”) if the suction
power drops.
Cleaning/Maintenance
Pull out the mains plug.
Danger of electric shock.
Never hose the appliance down
with water. Never use aggressive
cleaning agents or solvents. This
could damage the appliance.
General Cleaning Work
Clean the equipment after each use:
• Carry out cleaning outside in order to
avoid mess.
• Remove the container lid ( 7) and
empty the metal container ( 9).
Clean the metal container ( 9) with
water and allow it to dry.
• After removing the suction hose
( 10), clean the dust and soot
particles from the connections. This
ensures that the suction hose ( 10)
can be inserted again easily.
• Clean the folded filter (
13) (see
“Cleaning the folded filter”).
Cleaning the folded filter
Replace the pleated filter (13) if it
is worn, damaged or heavily soiled
(see “replacement parts“).
1. Take off the container cover (7).
2. Turn the folded filter (13) to the
position and remove it.
3. Tap out the pleated filter (13) and
clean it with a paintbrush or hand
brush.
Don‘t wash the pleated filter (13) in
water.
4. Place the folded filter (13) on the in
-
verted container cover (7).
5. Turn the folded filter (13) to the
position to close.
The filter basket (14) must rest on
the container cover (7) and press the
safety switch (15) downwards.
Cleaning the Air Filter
1. Take off the container cover (7), the
folded filter (13) and the filter basket
(14).
2. Take the air filter (16) out of the filter
housing (17).
3. Clean the filter (16) with soap and wa
-
ter and allow it to dry in the air.
4. Place the air filter (16) back in the filter
housing (17).
Storage
• Wrap the mains connection cable (1)
around the carrying handle (5).
• Keep the equipment in a dry place, out
of reach of children.
• Push the suction tube (11) and the
suction hose (10) onto the attachment
port (3).
• Insert the blowing aperture adapter
(12) into the blowing aperture.
