Setting the groove depth
1. Loosen the locking lever (14).
2. Use the scale on the protective
hood (11) to set your desired cutting
depth (8 - 43 mm).
3. Refix the protective hood (11) with the
locking lever (14).
Vacuuming
During operation, the wall chaser gener-
ates a large quantity of dust. You should
therefore wear a dust mask, and always
connect an industrial vacuum cleaner.
If the vacuum system malfunctions, pause
operation and clear the malfunction!
Attaching the dust bag
1. Twist the dust bag receptacle ( 23)
off the suction hose (25).
2. Open the dust bag (24) by pulling the
closure (26) off the dust bag (24).
3. Guide the dust bag receptacle (23)
through the dust bag (24) to the small
opening in the dust bag (24).
4. Insert the dust bag receptacle (23)
through the small opening of the dust
bag (24).
5. Open the hose clamp (21) by loos -
ening the screw (22) on the hose
clamp (21) with a screwdriver
6. Place the hose clamp (21) onto the
dust bag receptacle (23), above the
edge of the suction hose (25)
The dust bag (24) is clamped between
the dust bag receptacle (23) and the
hose clamp (21).
7. Tighten the screw (22) on the hose
clamp (21) with a screwdriver.
8. Twist the dust bag receptacle ( 23)
onto the suction hose (25).
9. Close the dust bag (24) by pulling the
closure (26) onto the dust bag (24).
Attaching the suction hose
1. Insert the suction hose (25) into the in -
take (27) of the vacuum connector (6).
2. Turn the suction hose (25) to the right.
Make sure the dust bag (24) is closed us -
ing the closure (26).

Operation
Caution! Risk of injury!
- Always remove the mains plug before
working on the tool.
- Only use diamond cutting discs and
accessories recommended by the
manufacturer. Using other attachment
tools and other accessories can repre-
sent a risk of injury for you.
- Only use grinding tools which bear in-
formation about the manufacturer, type
of binding, dimension and permitted
number of revolutions.
- Only use grinding discs where the
printed rotational speed is at least as
high as what has been specified on
the name plate of the device.
- Do not use any broken, cracked or
otherwise damaged diamond cutting
discs
- Never operate the device without pro-
tective equipment.
