LOCK-NUT

ADJUSTMENT SCREW

BIKE MAINTENANCE

BRAKES

The e-bike is equipped with V-brakes. The brake lever mounted on the left side of the
handlebar controls the front brake and the brake lever installed on the right side controls
the rear brake.

The tension on the brake cable must be tight to ensure full function. It should not be
possible to pull the brake lever all the way to the handlebar.

If you need to fine tune the tension on brake cable, turn the adjustment screw counter
clockwise to add more tension then turn the lock-nut clockwise until it stops and locks
the adjustment screw in place. We recommend using a certified bicycle mechanic if you
need significant adjustments.

WARNINGS:

•

Riding with poor adjusted brakes, worn brake pads, or wheels on which the rim wear
mark is not visible is dangerous and can result in serious injury and/or death.

•  Applying brakes too hard or too suddenly can lock up a wheel, which could cause

you to lose control and fall. Sudden or excessive application of the front brake may

pitch the rider over the handlebars, which may result in serious injury or death.
