Possible errors
The following is a table of possible faults, their causes, and solutions.
Fault
Possible cause
Solution
Remote control (2) not
responding.
Remote control (2) is switched
off.
Switch remote control (2) on.
Batteries (4) inserted incorrectly. Insert batteries (4) correctly.
Batteries (4) are empty.
Exchange batteries (4).
Quadrocopter (1) not
responding.
Batteries (4) in the remote
control (2) are inserted
incorrectly or are empty.
Check batteries (4) and
exchange if necessary.
Storage battery (3) in the
quadrocopter (1) is empty.
Charge the storage battery (3).
LED position lamps (1b) are
flashing or off.
Connect the storage battery
plug connection (3a) with the
quadrocopter plug connection
(1a).
Quadrocopter (1) is out of
range.
Make sure that the distance
between the remote control (2)
and the quadrocopter (1) is no
more than 50m.
It is not possible to control the
quadrocopter (1).
The wind or breeze is too
strong.
The quadrocopter (1) is only
suitable for wind-still conditions
without currents of air.
Quadrocopter needs
calibrating.
Place the quadrocopter (1)
on a horizontal, level surface.
Simultaneously push the throttle
(2d) and the joystick (2e)
downwards and to the right.
The LED position lamps (1b) on
the quadrocopter will flash for
approx. 3 seconds. As soon as
they light up continuously the
calibration is complete and the
quadrocopter is ready to fly.
Note:
Repeat the calibration
if the quadrocopter is still flying
uncontrollably in one direction.
Quadrocopter (1) will not fly
upwards.
Not enough power.
Slowly press the throttle (2d)
forwards.
The storage battery (3) is
empty.
Charge the storage battery (3).
