DESCALING
It is recommended to perform the appliance’s descaling every six months or after 400
Delta Q capsules extractions, approximately.
• Fill in the water tank and dissolve 3 tea spoons of Delta Q descaling liquid in it.
• Place a container (with a capacity above 250ml) under the rotary knob.
• Press the espresso button to switch the machine on ( 3 ).
• Press the espresso button to start the descaling. Repeat this step until the entire
contents of the water tank pass through the machine.
• Rinse the water tank and fill it up to the maximum capacity limit.
• Press the espresso button to clean the water circuit of the machine ( 7 ), repeat this step
until the water tank is empty. The descaling process of the machine is finished.
EMPTYING SYSTEM
Protection against ice or before a repair or a long period of time without use
Warning: The emptying of the system releases steam.
• Remove the plug of the machine from the outlet.
• Remove the water tank.
• Spin the rotary knob to the left, until reaching the open position . Pull the rotary knob
out in order to open the capsule-holder ( 4 ).
• To access the emptying mode, press the espresso button at the same time that you
connect the plug to the power outlet, continue to press the espresso button until the
LED turns on.
• The emptying starts automatically. The LED will blink slowly during the emptying mode.
• The machine switches off automatically.
• Empty and clean the used capsules deposit.
Note: The machine gets locked for 3 minutes.
PROGRAM VOLUME
Note: The default volume is around 30cc.
• If the machine is on, turn it off by pressing the espresso button until the LED turns off.
• To start the operation involving the change of the volume of your espresso, press the
espresso button until the LED lights (approx. 6 seconds). The machine enters the prehea-
ting stage. When the LED stops blinking the machine is ready to use.
• Spin the rotary knob to the left, until reaching the open position . Pull the rotary knob out
in order to open the capsule-holder ( 4 ). Insert a Delta Q capsule in the capsule-holder ( 5 ).
Make sure that the capsule is inserted correctly. Push and spin the rotary knob to the right,
until reaching the closed position ( 6 ).
Make sure that the cue trace is aligned with the symbol .
• Place a coffee cup under the rotary knob.
Press the espresso button to start the extraction ( 7 ).
• When the extraction reaches the desired quantity, press the espresso button again, thus
completing the operation. The machine memorises the volume and will start extracting
it until a new programme is set.
The appliance switches off automatically.
Note: If the user does not press the espresso button to finish the operation, the
equipment will automatically assume the maximum volume around of 75cc.
ORIGINAL SETTINGS
With the machine turned off, press the espresso button until the LED turns on (approx. 6
seconds).
The LED blinks twice until the light becomes solid.
• Then, press the espresso button until the LED blinks quickly twice, thus indicating that the
default settings of the appliance were reset.
The appliance switches off automatically.
