H) To end receiving data from an instrument:
•
Select TRANSFER (one click) from the Hyper Terminal window.
•
Select CAPTURE TEXT (one click) from the pull-down menu.
•
Select END (one click) from the pull-down submenu.
At this point the data receiving operation has ended and the file stored in the computer can be
edited by using a text editor program (NotePad, WordPad,…) or Excel.
I) To quit HyperTerminal:
•
Select FILE (one click) from the HyperTerminal window.
•
Select QUIT from the pull-down menu (one click).
•
Select YES (one click) if you need to save the communication settings.
