Back filter
Depending on the model, your appliance is fitted
with a microfilter or high efficiency filter (
HEPA
Filter**
)
This is housed under the air outlet slits.
To replace, press and lift the grille (R) (fig. 19).
Replace with the new filter, then close the grille,
pressing lightly until it clicks into place. If your
appliance has a
HEPA
filter, make sure the rubber
part is facing the appliance.
You should replace the filter at least every five dust
bag changes. For
HEPA
filter models, replace the
filter every four dust bag changes.

The HEPA Filter (High Efficiency Particulate Air) removes
impurities down to a size of 0.3 microns, filtering all
types of particle and even bacteria.
Important warning:
Never use the appliance without the filter.
PARKING POSITION
The telescopic extension can be stored away
tidily using the special clip.
Insert the extension mount in the special clip (H)
at the bottom of the appliance (Fig. 20).
The tools provided can also be stored tidily on
the tool holder attached to the flexible hose.

IMPORTANT WARNING
If the appliance is turned on and the vacuum power regulator is at maximum, but vacuum power
is low, check the hose and extension, the dust bag, the motor filter in the dust bag compartment
and the back filter.
If this does not resolve the problem, take the appliance to an authorised service centre.
