• release the SELF CLEAN button;
• plug the appliance into the mains and leave in opera-
tion for at least two minutes to dry the plate.
• at the end, unplug the appliance from the mains. Leave
the iron to cool and clean the outside with a soft cloth.
SCALE PREVENTION SYSTEM (ANTICALC)
The appliance is fitted with a permanent resin scale filter in
the tank. This filters the impurities and eliminates all scale
residue, thus enabling you to use normal tap water The
resins reduce water hardness, doubling the working life of
the iron.
AUTO SHUT-OFF (CERTAIN MODELS ONLY)
If the iron is not used and left horizontally for 30 seconds, it
turns off automatically. If the iron is not used and left verti-
cally or on its side, the automatic shut-off devices trips after
eight minutes.
Indicator light flashes to indicate activation of automatic
shut-off.

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as
urban waste.
It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste col-
lection centre or to a dealer providing this service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative con-
sequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate dis-
posal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain signifi-
cant savings in energy and resources.As a reminder of the need to dispose
of household appliances separately, the product is marked with a crossed-out
wheeled dustbin.
