When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
•
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
•
After having removed the appliance from the
packaging, make sure that it is complete in all of
its components. If there is any doubt, do not use
the appliance and return it to be checked by
qualified personnel.
•
The plastic bag containing the appliance should
be kept away from children as it may represent a
suffocation hazard.
•
To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to
persons, never immerse the cord or plug in water
or other liquids.
•
Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
•
Unplug from outlet when not in use before
putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
•
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions,
or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
•
The use of accessory attachments not
recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock or injuries.
•
Do not use outdoors.
•
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter,
or touch hot surfaces.
•
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or in a heated oven.
•
To disconnect, remove the plug from the wall
outlet.
•
After unpacking the appliance, be sure to dispose
carefully of the plastic bags so that children or the
infirm cannot reach them.
•
Ensure that your mains supply voltage is the same
as that marked on the underside of your citrus
juicer.
•
Take care when pouring - do not over-fill the
citrus juicer as juice may enter into the switch
mechanism.
•
Do not allow the power cord to hang over the
edge of the table or work surface, or anywhere it
may be accidentally caught or tripped over.
•
Never move the appliance while it is in use.
•
Do not use the appliance if you have wet hands.
•
The power cord must not be replaced by the user,
as this requires the use of special tools. If the
power cord is damaged, contact an authorized
Service Center.
•
If the citrus juicer is overfilled, juice may overflow.
•
Avoid contacting moving parts.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
