Disconnect the system fan’s cable from the system board. Then, remove the screws that secure the 
heatsink to the system board and lift it off the board.

Installing the Heatsink

1.

Insert the heatsink and tighten the screws to secure it to the system board.

2.

Connect the system fan’s cable to the system board.

Install:
a. system board
b. palmrest assembly
c. keyboard
d. memory module
e. hard drive
f. WLAN card
g. access panel
h. optical-disk drive
i. battery
