Cabling 24/43-A, 30-A Three-Phase, and 60-A Single-Phase PDUs

24/32-A PDUs can be used as power extensions from a UPS or from the main AC source. The "locking" style
of the inlet plug ensures a secure, grounded electrical connection. 24/32A PDUs have four IEC 60320 - C19
outlets that allow deployment of high-wattage rack components. 30-A Three-Phase PDUs and 60-A Single-
Phase PDUs have three IEC 60320 - C19 outlets that allow deployment of high-wattage rack components.
Up to two 12-A or up to three 10-A power strips can be used as power extensions from a 24/32-A PDU, a
30-A Three-Phase PDU, or a 60-A Single-Phase PDU (see Figure 1-13).
