The 

Dell Storage Initialization Wizard

 performs the following steps 

to configure your storage system:

1

Configure a network interface controller (NIC) to communicate 
with the storage array.

2

Prompts you to setup the storage array privileged users list.

If you change any of properties in the list below, run the 

Dell Storage 

Initialization Wizard

 by clicking the 

Run Dell Storage Initialization 

Wizard

 link from 

Dell Management Tools

 in the 

PowerVault NX1950 

Management Console

.

NIC or IP Address used to communicate with Dell|EMC storage arrays

•

Administrator user name and password for the storage array 

•

Storage processor IP address

•

Add or remove arrays

 

NOTE: 

Microsoft
