Configuring Device Information

–

MDI (Media Dependent Interface)

— Used for end stations.

–

MDIX (Media Dependent Interface with Crossover)

— Used for hubs and switches.

•

Current MDI/MDIX

— The currently configured device MDI/MDIX settings.

•

LAG

— Specifies if the port is part of a LAG.

•

PVE (Uplink)

— A port can be defined as a Private VLAN Edge (PVE) port of an uplink port, so that it

will be isolated from other ports within the same VLAN.

Defining Port Parameters

Open the

Port Configuration

page.

Select a port in the

Port

Field.

Define the remaining fields.

Click

Apply Changes

The port parameters are saved to the device.
