1. Remove the base cover .
2. Remove the battery .
3. Remove the power and volume-buttons board .
4. Remove the wireless card .
5. Follow the procedure from “ Removing the hard drive ” (Only for computers shipped with a hard drive).
6. Remove the I/O board .
7. Remove the power-adapter port .
8. Remove the touchpad .
9. Remove the speakers .
10. Remove the system board .
11. Remove the display assembly .
Procedure
After performing the steps in prerequisites we are left with the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
