Overview

Table 1

describes the VNXe3100 platform 2U DPE and the disk drive status LEDs.

Rear view

On the rear, the VNXe3100 platform includes one of two versions of the following
hardware components:

◆

One 2U DPE with a single storage processor (SP A):

• One SP

• Two power supply modules

• One Cache Protection Module; 1 GB

◆

One 2U DPE with two storage processors (SP A and B):

• Two SPs

• Two power supply modules

Note: In the following sections, the illustrations and corresponding tables describe these
individual components. These descriptions are for illustrative purposes only.
