XC6420 Series sled
The XC6420 Series sled is a server unit that is installed into the XC6400 Series enclosure. The sled features dual processors, memory, a
PCIe expansion slot, mezzanine cards, and onboard storage (SD card and M.2 SATA).
Removing a sled
Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions .
2 Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system .
NOTE: The process of removing a sled blank is similar to removing a sled.
Step
Press the retaining latch and using the handle slide the sled out of the enclosure horizontally, ensuring that the sled is supported from
beneath.
