Steps

1. Loosen the eight (M2.5x2.5) screws that secure the bottom base to the computer.
2. Using a plastic scribe, pry the base cover from the top-right corner and lift the base cover away from the computer.

Installing the base cover

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
