3.3.1 Deck

The deck is a sandwich construction. Balsa wood of different thicknesses is used as
intermediate layer.. In areas with a lot of strain reinforcements of aluminium, plywood or
solid wood are used.
Fittings such as genua slides, halyard pegs, winches, deck hatches or turnaround bushings are
sealed with an elastic silicone rubber mass and screwed.

3.3.2 Sea railing

The deck is equipped with a bow basket, stern basket, integrated safety ladder/swimming
ladder and conical sea railing supports. The sea fence has a continuous height of 610 mm.
The eight railing bolts and the bolt for the bow and stern basket are screwed on the aluminium
deck reinforcement and glued with epoxy resin.

Cleaning and Maintenance Hints

Stainless steel Fittings: Polish matt or dark areas, so that the stainless
        steel keeps its anti-corrosion characteristics

Winches, Blocks: Dismount at least for winter storage, cleaning and treatment
    with appropriate lubricants

Windows, hatch panes: Wash with clean water and polish with a soft cloth

Teak wood: Wash regularly with clean water. It will not be good to use high
   pressure watercleaner.

3.3.3 Lifeboat

If you use the yacht in sea areas corresponding to its design category, a lifeboat should be
installed on the established point on the deck. The lifeboat shall have sufficient space for all
persons on board.

HINT

According to the cabin version, a lifeboat for 6

or 8 persons should be stored in the storage

space under the helmsman’s seat.
