Important

In the case of maintenance/disassembly of the boiler combustion circuit installed on a collective flue in positive

pressure, take the necessary precautions to prevent the fumes from other boilers installed on the common flue

from entering the room where the boiler is installed.

6.5.7

Split (parallel) pipes

For particular flue gas intake/exhaust pipe installations, it is possible to

use a single splitter fitting. This fitting makes it possible to direct the intake

and exhaust in any direction thanks to its 360° rotation.
This type of pipe makes it possible to discharge the flue gas outside of the

building or to single chimneys. The combustion air intake and exhaust can

be located in different areas. The splitter fitting is fixed directly on the

boiler and makes it possible for the combustion air and the exhaust flue

gas to enter/exit from two separate pipes (80 mm).
The 90° elbow makes it possible to connect the boiler to exhaust and

intake pipes, adapting it to different requirements. It can also be used as

an additional elbow in combination with the 45° pipe or elbow.
If discharging to the outdoors, the exhaust pipe must exit at least 18 mm

from the wall, in order to position the aluminium washer and its sealing, to

prevent water infiltration.

Caution

Make sure to correctly fasten the splitter fitting by turning it from

position “0” to position “1” as shown in the figure.

Caution

Guarantee a minimum slope of the flue gas evacuation pipe

towards the boiler of at least 5 cm per metre.
