Installing Printer Ink*
Epson 4100/4105
•
Press the right arrow until the
“Maintenance” icon, then press OK
•
Press the down arrow until the “Ink
Cartridge Replacement” icon, then press
OK
•
Press OK at the warning
•
Lift the top of the printer and wait for the
printhead to stop moving
•
Remove cartridge from its packaging, then
remove the yellow tab
•
Each slot is clearly marked with which
color belongs there
•
Insert the cartridge with the label facing
left, then gently press down until it clicks
•
When finished, shut the top and press ok
•
The printer will initialize the cartridges,
which may take a few minutes
Epson 2830/2850
•
Press the right arrow until the “Settings”
icon, then press OK
•
Press the right arrow until the
“Maintenance” icon, then press OK
•
Press the right arrow until the “Ink
Cartridge Replacement” icon, then press
OK
•
When the screen says, “Replace ink
cartridges”, lift the top of the printer, then
press the diamond shaped button
•
Wait for the printhead to stop moving
•
Remove cartridge from its packaging, then
remove the yellow tab
•
Each slot is clearly marked with which
color belongs there
•
Insert the cartridge with the label facing
left, then gently press down until it clicks
•
When finished, shut the top and press ok
•
The printer will initialize the cartridges,
which may take a few minutes
*These instructions will work with both the E and U models for these Epson printers. A sticker will be on your printer to remind you if
you have the E or U model. The color of the sticker will match the color on the appropriate ink cartridge packaging.
