and make sure that no moisture, oil or grease gets into
the cooling slots.
• Use kitchen paper or a soft cloth to clean the inside
and the sides of the plates.
• Do not use scouring sponges or steel wool to clean the
inside or outside, as they could damage the coating.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. Do not
place it in the dishwasher.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Before using it for the first time, you are recommended
to switch it on while empty. You will appreciate some
smoke on its first use. This is normal and will not
cause any harm. It will disappear after a short while.
• When it is to be used for the first time, clean the
surface of the plates with a damp cloth and then dry it.
• Close the plates of the appliance and plug it into the
mains. The red indicator light will switch on indicating
that the appliance is on.
• Prepare the food while the appliance is heating up.
• The green indicator light will also light up when the
cooking temperature is reached. While in use, the ready
indicator will light up and go out at regular intervals.
This only means that the thermostat is regulating the
temperature of the appliance.
