Removing a Card Using Mac OS X
To remove a digital media card from the ZiO HS Reader/Writer using Mac OS X, please wait
until the Access Indicator stops flashing,
then follow the instructions below

1.
Select the card’s removable disk icon and choose
Eject
from the
File
Menu (or drag
the removable disk icon over the Trash icon), as shown below.
The removable disk icon disappears from the desktop. It is now safe to remove the
card.
2.
Grasp the end of the card with your thumb and index fingers, and remove it from the
slot.
Caution:
Do not remove a mounted card or disconnect the ZiO HS Reader/Writer until
you select its icon and choose Eject from the File menu (or drag the removable disk
icon to the Trash). Improper removal can corrupt the data stored on your card. If
removed improperly, a message may remind you to remove the card properly. If you
see this message, click
OK
and check your files for data loss.
Select removable disk icon
and choose Eject in File menu
(or drag to Trash)
