Clearing Daily and Total Rainfall

You may clear daily and/or total rainfall at any time to begin a new total.

Note:

Daily and total rainfall values must be cleared separately.

1. Press RAIN as necessary to display either daily or total rainfall.

2. Press and hold down CLEAR until the rainfall total resets to zero.

Note:

To prevent accidental clearing of the total rainfall, you need to hold CLEAR down for 7 seconds
before total rainfall clears. Daily rainfall clears after only 3 seconds.

Alarms

You may set a high alarm for daily rainfall. For information on displaying, set-
ting, and clearing alarms, see “Alarms” starting on page 46.

The Energy EM displays current barometric pressure in inches of Hg (in), milli-
meters of Hg (mm), and hectoPascals (hPa).

Barometric Trend Indicator

The barometric trend indicator, which appears on the bottom right hand corner
of the display, gives you a visual indication of whether barometric pressure is
steady, rising, or falling. The barometric trend indicator updates approximately
every 15 minutes.

• Steady Barometric Pressure

If barometric pressure changed by less than .02 inches of Hg (0.5 mm, or
0.7 hPa) over the past hour, the steady barometric pressure indicator
appears.
