DaVinci-Cat2+

Overhead Light Connection – Category 2+ Units

When using a Category 2 or greater DaVinci with
overhead lights, the overhead light wires will need to
be connected. Follow the steps below to connect
the wires. For Category 3+ join the sections and
connect the wiring in each section in the same
manor shown below.

1 Remove the baffle from the master module and

place it on the burner area. Locate the bundled wire
connected to the ceramic terminal bar and remove
the wire tie. Direct the wire toward the open end of
the module (see picture to right).

2 On the secondary module, remove the baffle and

place it on the burner area. Join the secondary
module to the master module.

3 Reinstall the baffle in the master module and run

the previously bundled wire to the ceramic bus
bar on the secondary module baffle. Connect the
wires to the terminal block as shown below.

4  Reinstall the secondary module baffle.
5  Secure all excess wiring to make sure it does not contact hot components.
6  When installing the media trays, make sure the notch fits over the overhead light wires.

These wires connect to the overhead

lights on the secondary module.

Place the baffle on

the burner area.

NOTE

: when replacing

the media trays, make

sure the notch fits over

the overhead light wires.

Attach the wires to the terminal block (see pictures below).

NOTE

: The surround panels fit over the

wires, concealing them.
