A free measuring distance of 16-ft
(5m) on a firm surface is required.
– Place the laser instrument on a
flat, level surface or mount onto
a tripod approximately 16-ft (5m)
from a wall.
– Hang a plumb bob from ceiling a
minimum 6-ft (2m) from wall V1 .
– Switch the instrument on and
allow the instrument to self-level.
Activate the vertical rotating laser.
– Position the vertical laser plane to
align at point V1 .
