8.3

 

Instructions changing knives 

 

 
The knives should be positioned and tensioned correctly for the best slicing results  
This should be done by a technician 

 
Please read the procedure carefully 
 
Turn off the main switch of the machine 
 

 
In  order  to  access  the  knives,  you  need  to  disconnect  the  in-  and  outfeed  table  aswell  as  the  covers 
from the machine. 
 

1.

 

Open the top cover of the machine. 

 

2.

 

Remove the in- and outfeed table. 

 

3.

 

Make sure the knifeholders are aligned. Turn the wheel until they level with each other. 

 

4.

 

Turn the knife to the left. Use the special knife-tool for this (see figure 8.3). 
 

5.

 

Take the knife out of the holder. A click can be heard when placing back a new knife. 
 

6.

 

Repeat step 4 & 5 for all the knives that need to be changed. 
 

7.

 

Replace the in- and outfeedtable back in the machine. 
 

8.

 

Close the cover and turn the machine back on.
