Passkey Request
During the pairing process, based on Host and Device
security settings, you may need to enter a passkey.
If you let the Host generate the passkey, simply enter the
required code by scanning the corresponding bar codes for
alphanumeric entry (see
Hex-Numeric Keypad on page
49 ). Complete by scanning the End label. To restart the
entering of the passkey, read the Cancel label.
If, alternatively, you choose to digit the passkey proposed
by the device, enter
1234 .

HID Country Mode
When the Reader is connected with a Bluetooth Applica-
tion in HID mode, you may want to set the country for
which your Host is localized. Go to
HID Country Mode on
page 22 ” and read one of the configuration command
labels.
