Product Reference Guide

ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE

Sleep Mode Timeout

Specifies the timeout value for the reader to enter Sleep Mode (a very low power consumption
state).

NOTE

RS-232 interface ONLY.

A reader having a

Scan Mode

setting of Object Sense, Stand Mode,

Flashing, or Always On will not enter Sleep Mode. (The reader is
always internally active when in these modes.)
