Die FireScan™ Lesepistolen verfügen über ein
programmierbares Zielsystem. Wenn der Scanner mit der
Taste aktiviert wird, sendet der das System zunächst einen
Zielpunkt und erst nach einer programmierbaren Zeit eine
Leselinie. Der Zielpunkt wird auf den Code gerichtet damit die
Leselinie den gesamten Code erfassen kann (siehe Bild).

Las pistolas de la serie FireScan™ ofrecen un modo de
encuadre programable. Cuando esté activada, la línea de
escaneo emitida por la ventana está precedida por un punto
rojo que debe iluminar el centro del código para asegurar el
mejor rendimiento de lectura (ver figura,
c
). Una vez terminado
el encuadre, el punto rojo desaparece y aparece la línea de
escaneo para empezar la lectura de los códigos.
