WARNINGS:

Pump must
ALWAYS
be submerged in water.
DO NOT RUN DRY

•
Keep
ALL
electrical connections out of the water.
•
Never plug into
a power
outlet if any part of the product appears to be damaged.
•
Check for leaks after initial setup and occasionally afterwards.
•
DO NOT
use any household cleaners
on any of the surfaces

•
NEVER
allow water to freeze in the fountain.
ALWAYS
drain fountain basin before
temperatures go below freezing.
•
ALWAYS
use a “Drip Loop” when operating the pump (see Fig.1).
The drip loop simply allows
a portion of the cord to drop down below your outlet before rising back up to it. This will
prevent any water from running into your outlet.
MAINTENANCE:
•
Change water periodically to reduce scaling & mineral buildup.
Use of Distilled
water
will help
prevent buildup.
•
Check water level and add as necessary to maintain proper level.
•
Drain all water from basin
and remove & rinse pump
if fountain will be out of service for
an
y
extended period of time.
•
Remove pump from fountain periodically and rinse with fresh
water to remove
any
debris or
buildup.
•
Rinse basin periodically with tap water and wipe away any buildup.

WINTER STORAGE
:
Although these fountains are
designed and
rated for outdoor use, winter weather conditions in
some regions may adversely affect their finish, performance and lifespan. If the temperature in
your region is at risk of dropping below 3
4
° F, your fountain should be “winterized” before those
temperatures arrive.
F
ollow the
simple
steps below to winterize
your fountain
and assure a
trouble-free startup in the spring:
1.
Remove power from the pump and c
ompletely drain all the water from the fountain
basin.
2.
Remove the pump from the fountain basin & d
isconnect
it
from the
fill tube
.
3.
Disconnect the LED connection lead.
4.
Clean
the pump as stated in the "
Maintenance
" section above.
5.
Allow all parts to dry
or assist with compressed air
.
Then s
tore
all the components in a
temperature controlled area such as a basement or garage.
