ALERT Gate Alarm System

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Solution
1
My gate is closed but the alarm won’t stop.
Be sure your MagnaLatch
®
ALERT is properly
aligned and securely latched.
See MagnaLatch
®
ALERT installation instructions.
2
My disarm touch sensor isn’t working.
The Disarm feature comes de-activated from the
factory. To activate, refer Section 3.4.
3
The alarm is making a downward chirping sound;
what does this mean?
The battery is low and time to replace.
Refer Section 3.3.
4
My alarm is not as loud as when first purchased.
The battery cover (or horn) may be blocked with
debris. Remove cover and clean opening of any
debris that may impede sound of alarm. Then
replace cover (see section 3.3).
5
What if I tried everything but my MagnaLatch
®
ALERT
is still not working properly?

manual for contact information.
