The patented Panomera® multifocal sensor technology goes far beyond
the conventional Full HD 1080p standard and megapixel resolution. Due
to the multifocal sensor system, all areas of the entire surveillance scene
are simultaneously displayed at maximum detail resolution. No mat -
ter which part of the surveillance zone an operator focuses at any time,
Panomera® always captures the entire event. Therefore, an incident can
always be reconstructed later to be used as evidence in court, regard -
less of where it happened, and it is possible to recognize the individuals
involved.
Panomera® enables full overall view with minimum wear and nearly no
maintenance. The multifocal sensor system thus provides a long service
life and long-term investment protection at low infrastructural demands.
The multifocal sensor system Panomera® W8 is designed for both indoor
and outdoor use and is supplied with 48 V DC.
Operation
• If the device or the cables connected to the device are located near
sources with strong radiation, the video image may be distorted.
• The device is equipped with automatic gain control (AGC). In low-light
conditions the image may be altered (e.g. noise). However, this is not a
malfunction.
• The quality of the video image depends on the lighting conditions and
the used monitor.
• The accuracy of the automatic white balance (AWB) algorithm depends
on the used lighting. Mixed light (consisting of artificial light and day -
light) may cause color distortions (inaccurate color reproduction).
• Poor lighting can lead to an incorrect white balance.
