2 Description
2.1 Performance features
The DVS 600 is a combination of a high performance video sensor
and a convenient recording system.
The technical equipment and integral picture memory are based
on the high quality hardware platform featured in the DMS 180 III.
The risk of false alarms has been minimized by special picture
processing algorithms and the fact that alarm messages can be
linked. The picture processing algorithms can distinguish between
„genuine“ (for example human) and „non-genuine“ (for example
animal) detection objects and filters them for further message
processing. The facility to link alarm states means that an alarm
message is not created until several messages occur at the same
time (for example light barrier, movement sensor, etc.). If connected
direct to a security centre the alarm messages can be verified
immediately using the picture information and other action can
then be taken straight away.
The product is easy to install and is simple to adjust for the installer.
The communication is fully compatible with all Dallmeier
components, in other words evaluations can be completed using
PView software, for example. The efficient directional evaluation
and the 3-D perspectives extend the range of possible applications
to include demanding outdoors areas such as the surveillance of
buildings. The DVS 600 offers complete, practical monitoring of
the objects that required protection around the clock and without
the need for personnel.
All other features such as SmartFinder, removable BNC terminal
board, LCD display for service and status displays, SEDOR
technology and comprehensive monitoring mechanisms are
identical to the basic DMS 180 III system.
