13 Image Transmission
The device can be configured as active network component for streaming of audio and
In addition the device, as a passive network component, can be triggered for transmission
of audio and video data via various transport and data protocols by external devices and
applications.

Current video data can be retrieved as a single image (JPEG) by any web browser.

The displayed image can be refreshed at any time. The retrieve expression can be inte-
grated in a HTML (JavaScript) page that refreshes the image automatically.

RTSP Application
The live video can be retrieved and controlled (start and stop) by external RTSP capa-
ble applications. This function does not affect the “Video Streaming“ function (see section
