NOTICE
The DDF4620HDV-DN-SM is designed for indoor
installations. However, an outdoor installation may be
permitted, but only in compliance with the following
instructions/recommendations:
• Only use IP67 (Ingress Protection 67) approved
components and assemblies.
• Always use the delivered O-rings.
• Adhere the delivered adhesive-backed gasket to the
bottom of the housing base.
• Always use the delivered cable gland (or equivalent)
for the cable feedthrough.
• Protect the device from direct influence of weather
conditions (rainfall, direct sunlight, etc.).
• Always use a protected installation site (e.g. under
a canopy).
• For wall-mount installations, align the camera hous -
ing with the cable gland pointing down whenever
possible.
