Zeroing the DEX CAN
•
Before zeroing, allow the detector to be
powered for at least 15 min.
•
Set the voltmeter on mV
DC
position and
connect it to the DEX CAN transmitter
using the measurement plug.
•
With the precision screwdriver gently
adjust the "
CAL
" potentiometer so that the
voltmeter reading is 0mV ± 0.1mV.
•
On the
OctoPRO
, select the detector
address, then select type of module
DEXCAN and enter the measuring range.
•
On the
OctoPRO
press
F3
to select
Calibration
function.
•
Press
ENTER
to start calibration and wait
until procedure completion.
Please refer to the OctoPRO Instruction Manual for measure function.
Adjusting gain of DEX CAN
•
Detector must have been zeroed as
described here above.
•
Visualize the detector measure on the
OctoPRO
display (press F2) or on the
OctoBUS 64
central unit display.
•
On the cylinder, set flow rate at 0.8 l/min
and apply calibration gas until the
measure reading stabilizes.
•
With the screwdriver gently adjust the
GAIN
so that the measure reading
matches the applied calibration gas
concentration.

Cal. gas 2,5% Methane (CH
