Starting the engine

①

Turn the fuel valve to the "OPEN" position.

②

Turn the choke lever to the "CLOSE" position.

③

Move the engine switch to the "ON" position.

④

Pull the starter grip until compression is felt,

then pull briskly.

Do not allow the starter grip to snap back. Return it slowly by hand.

⑤

Turn the choke lever to the "OPEN" position as the engine warms up.
