Light Activated Operation

Light Activated 

(Setup Step 77) 

OFF

 – Light activation is not used. 

ON

 – The thermostat will enter Occupied 1 when a light source 

is detected. 

Light Sensor Sensitivity 

(Setup Step 78) 

Press OUTDOOR to set the sensitivity of the light sensor. The 

scrolling display will read “Light Sensor Set” when finished. The 

Light Sensor is located on the top of the thermostat.

Press Outdoor To Clear All Messages 

(Setup Step 79) 

This feature allows the user to clear all current error messages 

from the display. 

Resetting the Thermostat to the Factory 

Default Settings (for default values see 

Table 7 

on page 31

If, for any reason, you desire to return all the stored settings 

back to the factory default settings, follow the instructions below. 

 WARNING

This will reset all Time Period and Advanced Programming to 

the default settings. Any information entered prior to this reset 

may be permanently lost.

1.  Press and hold SETUP for 5 

seconds. All icons will appear 

on the display. 

Keep pressing 

the SETUP button 

until you see this 

screen. 

2.  After all the icons appear, 

release SETUP. Press 

and hold OUTDOOR for 5 

seconds. DEFAULTS will 

appear on the display. 

Keep pressing the 

OUTDOOR button 

until you see this 

screen. 

3.  After DEFAULTS appears, 

release OUTDOOR. Press 

SETUP to return to normal 

operation.
