To start COMFORT AIRFLOW operation
3. Press “COMFORT AIRFLOW button”.
• The position of the flaps will change, preventing air from blowing directly on the occupants of
the room.
• “
” is displayed on the LCD.
• Airflow rate is set to “AUTO”.
COOL/DRY
The flaps will go up.
HEAT
The flaps will go down.
To cancel COMFORT AIRFLOW operation
4. Press “COMFORT AIRFLOW button” again.
• The flaps will return to the memory position from before COMFORT AIRFLOW mode.
• “
” disappears from the LCD.

• POWERFUL operation and COMFORT AIRFLOW operation cannot be used at the same
time. Priority is given to POWERFUL operation.
• When “
SWING button
” is selected, the flaps
swinging range depends on the operation
mode. (See the figure.)
ATTENTION
• Always use a remote controller to adjust the
flaps angle. If you attempt to move it forcibly
with hand when it is swinging, the mecha-
nism may be broken.
• Be careful when adjusting the louvers. Inside the
air outlet, a fan is rotating at a high speed.
• If the air conditioner is operated in cooling or dry
mode with the flaps kept stopped in the down-
ward direction, the flaps will automatically start
operating in approximately an hour in order to
prevent dew condensation.
