Troubleshooting
Also refer to the operation manual of the indoor unit.
The following cases are not troubles.
Symptom Cause
Hissing and crackling
noises are coming out
Hissing and crackling noises are coming out
from the streamer unit. They are noises associated with discharge.
The air smells
The odour from the air outlet is concerning. In rare cases, odour from the pleated filter
may be noticed at the beginning of use.
Also, odour may come out from the air outlet
due to the small amount of ozone generated
during streamer discharge.
The filter is discoloured
The pleated filter turns yellow. The filter may discolour due to the UV beams.
The blue LED does not
turn on
The blue LED goes off during operation. The blue LED turns off when the fan is
stopped.
UV beams cannot be
confirmed
UV beams cannot be confirmed by the
naked eye.
Since deep ultraviolet rays (UVC) are not
visible, they cannot be confirmed by the
naked eye.
Low-register or buzzing
operating sound is
generated
The low-register or buzzing operating sound is
the result of mounting the UV streamer air
purifier unit.
In rare cases, mounting the unit may cause
an operating sound.
The indicator on the corner
cover with operation
display keeps blinking
Keeps blinking even if the operation is
stopped. The blinking of the indicator does not go off
even when operation is stopped.
Contact your dealer for parts replacement.

The UV unit or streamer
unit does not run
The UV unit or streamer unit is not running
while the air conditioner is operating. Depending on the conditions of use, the UV
unit and streamer unit may stop to protect
parts.
Check before requesting service.

position, turn it on.

Poor airflow and noisy
The air filter may be clogged and dirty. Clean the air filter.

• When an error is indicated during operation, the UV streamer air purifier unit stops automatically. (The air conditioner continues
operating.)
• If the problem persists even after checking the above, do not attempt to repair by yourself, but contact your dealer.
