5 Web Operation
5.1 Introduction
Device supports access and manage device via WEB from PC.
By configuring device network, camera, intelligent business, a user can monitor and send
HD image.
Search log, auto upgrade, for simplified user management and device maintenance.
5.2 System Login
5.2.1 Network Connection
When parking detector is installed, you must inspect if it is well connected to the Internet or not.
Device default IP address is 192.168.1.108.
Step 1. Set IP address, subnet mask and gateway for PC and parking detector.
If there is no router in the network, please set IP address of PC and parking detector to
same network segment.
If there is router in the network, please set IP address, subnet mask and gateway of PC
and parking detector correspondingly.
Step 2. On PC, ping device IP address, check if device network is normal.
1) On PC select Start>Run.

In Run box, input “cmd”, click on OK. System pops up “cmd.exe” command box.

In “cmd.exe” box, input “ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx”, check if device network is normal.
For e
xample, device IP address is 172.6.5.7, then you input “ping 172.6.5.7” to
check.
It return result “Reply from 172.6.5.7: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=127”, then device
network is normal.
If return result “Request timed out.”, then device network is abnormal. You shall
check network parameter.
5.2.2 Log in Web
Step 1. In Internet Explorer, input device IP address, press Enter. System shows WEB client-end
page.
If you see a prompt ask you to install “webrec.cab”, you shall follow it.
Step 2. Click Install.
System will automatically install, and upgrade to new version WEB and overwrite older
version.
If the system prohibit the installation, please confirm if there is other plug-in prohibiting
control-unit, and lower IE security level. See
Figure 5- 1
