iSCSI Management
iSCSI is to provide iSCSI share service for you.
3.5.1 Add iSCSI share configuration
Note
Before you add iSCSI, please create user volume first. Please refer to chapter 3.4.5 for detailed
information.
The interface is shown as in Figure 3-30.
Here you need to configure the following four items when you adding iSCSI share.
Target (mapping) name: it is a part of iSCSI share device name. It is easy for you to
recognize the iSCSI device.
Logic volume: It is to set the shared user volume when you create the iSCSI.
Block size: It is to set the shared storage space size.
Set space: Here you can set device size. Unit is G.
Device: There are two options: Host/disk array enclosure.
Cache type: There are two options: write-back, write-through. You can refer to the contents
at the bottom of the interface for detailed information.
Location: Select host/disk array enclosure from the dropdown list.
CHAP user: You select valid user name and password when system loads iSCSI share.
Refer to chapter 4.2 and Appendix C for detailed information.
Select a valid user: when loading an iSCSI share you need to input a valid user name
and password.
