About MP3, JPG and DivX® discs
■
Recognizing range for a MP3 disc is stated below.
• It may break of a sound while playing for a file in which it was recorded with a variable
bit rate(VBR) from low bit rate to high bit rate (Ex.:64~256kbps) in itself.
• A file name must be composed with figures and the extension must be MP3.
• The Maximum recognizing number of files is 647.

Recognizing range for a JPG disc is stated below.
• File name is ****.jpg which is composed with characters and figures.
• Some of JPG files may become not only slow to play but also impossible to play
since the capacities are too large.
• The state or saving method of a disc may cause not to play it.
Cautions upon a use of MP3, JPG disc.
• Due to many different recording formats which exist for CD-RW-discs, we cannot
guarantee that each CD-RW can be played with this unit.
• The CD-R must be recorded with the standard format because it can not be played
back according to the recording format.
• The CD-R should be written using the ‘disc at once’ method.
• The disc which is made with ISO 9660 format can be played back.

Playing a disc containing DivX® files
■
DivX® video technology, often called the “MP3 of video”, enables large
video files like DVDs or home videos to be converted to a fraction of the
size.
• Types of playable DivX files : ".avi", ".divx"
• Types of playable Codec formats : DivX3.xx, DivX 4.xx, DivX 5.xx, XviD, MP43,
3ivx
• It may not be played according to a type of DivX files, a recording method, or a
disc state. (The device was authenticated for DivX files from the DivX Networks,
Inc. and it is available for playing a normal DivX file but may be unavailable for
playing the DivX files that have been manufactured with an illegal or abnormal
Codec.)
• When the image / sound structure of a recorded file have not been undergone the
interleave, it will output either the image or the sound.
• In order to recognize the subtitle file automatically, DivX file name and
Subtitle file name must be same.
Ex) DivX file name : ETHE ADVENTURE.avi
Subtitle file name : ETHE ADVENTURE.sub
