Set Up DVB SYSTEM
Common Interface
The Common Interface menu provides
the Information on the CI card inserted into
the CI slot, located at the rear of the TV.
See page 26.
If no CI card is inserted the Message “No CI Module” will
be displayed. If you have inserted a CI card, check that it is
fully inserted.
Signal Strength
The signal Strength function displays an indication of signal
Strength for each DVB programme position.
Important
The DVB system requires a good quality signal to provide the best picture. For the DVB system, interference such as this
can disrupt the flow of data causing the picture to appear to be made up of large blocks, or to freeze intermittently.
If the picture disappears completely, this could mean that signal quality is very poor. If this happens often, you may need
to improve your aerial system to provide a better signal. See page 30.
Over Air Download To System Update (OAD)
If your TV informs you there is a new software update, the TV
menu will help you update the software using DVB-T air signal.
You can check the current software version by selecting the
System update menu and if new version is available, you can
upgrade your own software. See page 27.
