Auto answer
If you set auto answer to On, when you receive an incoming call and the handset is in the charger,
you can pick it up to answer the call. You do not need to press .

4. Press or to select either On or Off and press to confi rm.
5. Press repeatedly to exit and return to standby.
Keypad lock
You can lock the keypad so that it cannot be used accidentally while carrying it around.
To lock the keypad.
1. Press to open the main menu.
2. Press or until Handset is displayed, then press .
3. Press or to display
Keylock? and press to confi rm.
While the keypad is locked, the icon will be displayed.
Press within 3 seconds to unlock the keypad.
Base ringer volume
The base has 6 ringer volume settings: Off and 1–5.

3. Base Volume is displayed, press .
