Important safety instructions
Read the instruction manual carefully before connecting and operating your telephone.
Maintenace
l
Only use a damp cloth to clean the telephone. Never use polish, solvents, abrasives or strong
detergents since these can damage the telephone.
l
Your phone should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves or any
other appliance that produces heat.
Installation Precautions
l
Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm.
l
Never touch un-insulated telephone wires or terminals, unless the telephone line has been
disconnected at the network interface.
Caution
To reduce the risk of fire or injury, read and follow these instructions:
l
Use only the leak proof batteries.
l
Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire.
l
When inserting the batteries into this product, the proper polarity or direction must be
observed. Reverse insertion of the batteries can cause leakage or damage to the telephone.
l
Remove the batteries from this product, if the product is not to be used for a long period of
time (several months or more).
l
Discard the discharged batteries as soon as possible.
NOTE:
The batteries need to be disposed in a battery disposal bin.
Please check your local retail or recycle centre store for disposal bins.
GETTING STARTED
1. Insert one end of the line cord to the line jack of the base and the other end to the exchange.
LCD will display month, date, time and year.
2. Connect the handset and the unit with coiled Cord.
3. If you want to keep incoming and outgoing calls or other information even when if the line
cord is removed, use 2 ×1.5AA batteries ( Otherwise for Normal Phone operation, Batteries are
not required).
4. Setting the dialing mode to correct mode according to the directions from your local
telecom.
